The IDSP has been implimented at (3) Three group sites namely: - Lusitu in Churundu of Lusaka Province, Mwomboshi in Chisamba of Central Provice and Musakashi in Mufulira of the Copperbelt province. At these core sites IDSP uses a Tier system approch were three types of irrigated plots are combined within each scheme.

IDSP under the Investment Support Fund, has funded (13) thirteen sub-projects at (5) five publict institutions, namely:- Zambia National Service (ZNS), Zambia Correctional Service (ZCS), Zambia Police Service (ZP), Zambia College of Agriculture (Mphika) and The Zambia Centre of Horticultural Training (ZCHT).

IDPS with funding from the world Bank was tasked to curry out remediation measures on (10) ten Dams Located in 9 Districts of Zambia. These are:- Ndondi and Nachibanga in Pemba, Makaba in Namwala, Ngologozya in Zimba, Nabowa in Kaoma, Kanyika in Kasempa, Kawiko in Mwinilunga and Chikowa in Mambwe Districts.
